We are The Tidewater Taillights. We are a chapter of Lambda Car Club, an international organization that brings together people and their cars for newsletters, road trips, road rallies, weekend retreats and other social gatherings.

We have been in the Tidewater area since 1988. Our members vary in age, race, sex, and background as well as car manufacturers ranging from “domestic Land yachts” to “sophisticated street cruisers” to “hi-revving imports” and “custom rods" to ”Classic Cruisers". We have no boundaries, just a love for the automobile.

Our meetings and social gatherings are monthly and members are notified by E-mail, this web site, and a snail mail newsletter and member directory from the national club. Our local newsletter lists local and national events, useful automotive information, historic automotive trivia, and photos of member’s cars.

Our organization has four board members who are elected annually by the registered members through a democratic voting process. Elected positions are open to all registered members and are for a duration of one year, unless re-elected.
